Veteran Biometric Executive Set to Leverage Leading 3D Technology in Consumer, Commercial and Government Applications
Mar 25, 2003 - A4Vision Inc, a global leader in advanced identification software and 3D facial imaging technology, today announced it has named Grant Evans chief executive officer. Formerly an executive at Identix and Identicator, Evans is a force in the biometrics, security and computer industries fully equipped to wield every opportunity for A4Vision, already acclaimed as a leader in 3D facial recognition technology.

Evans has 19 years of operating experience at building start-ups through to private multi hundred million dollar operations and publicly traded companies. He has a broad basis of operational experience that includes M&A, capital fund raising in venture, corporate and public sectors, sales and marketing, product management, business development and general management.
Most recently, Evans served as the executive vice president at Identix, a publicly traded NASDAQ company and global leader in the security market. Prior, he was VP and general manager of Identicator Technology and responsible for leading the company’s strategic direction, in which role he launched the biometric industry’s commercial market, enabling an exit strategy of merging Identicator with Identix.
